Experience and Expertise
With our vast robotic vehicle experience, we can provide the expertise, creativity, and scientific understanding to help you complete your next project. For those who are new to automated vehicles, we can help you understand both the how and the why. Automation can allow vehicles to accomplish repetitious tasks on their own, freeing up people for other duties. Automated vehicles can test themselves, ensuring that the final, non-automated versions are safe for people to operate. Robotic vehicles can also put themselves in harm's way, accomplishing security or military objectives without putting human lives at risk.
Areas of Expertise include:
- Path Planning
A vehicle isn't truly "autonomous" unless it can think for itself. Our vehicles use advanced artificial intelligence technologies that allow them to make practical decisions about how to get from point A to point B. Constantly aware of their environment, they adjust their paths "on the fly."
- Sensor Fusion
A robotic vehicle is only as smart as the information on which it acts. Because an unmanned vehicle can't avoid obstacles it can't "see," we use multiple linked sensors to collect environmental data using a variety of methods, creating the best-informed vehicles in the industry.
- Precision Control
Even the largest vehicles can move gracefully, with an economy of movement that allows them to do their job efficiently. Our control systems have an extra degree of finesse that lets our vehicles perform with the soft touch you would expect from a human operator.
- Ease of Use
Controlling a robotic vehicle doesn't have to be rocket science. By listening to our customers and applying lessons learned from our daily testing, we have refined our software to make it easy to use with minimal training. We put you in the driver's seat, without requiring you to be in the driver's seat.

Some of Our Current Products:

Chaos combines the strengths of current mobility platforms (legs, wheels, and tracks) into one complimentary design. This vehicle is ideal for moving in both rough and urban terrain. It can inspect caves, desert, office buildings, rubble piles, and snow.
Each leg can be rotated continuously like a wheel, enabling the robot to walk and pull itself over rough, uneven terrain. The chassis is invertible, and full operation is possible in either orientation. The independent control of each leg provides dynamic pitch, roll, and yaw orientation adjustment of the sensor platform. When appropriate, moving the legs to the upright position minimizes the contact patch of the track with the ground, in turn reducing energy losses and maximizing efficiency. The primary locomotion and steering comes from the independently driven tracks. Thus, the robot combines the concepts of wheels, legs, and tracks and consequently can minimize the limitations of each.

Spector is a specially-designed robot built to inspect the underside of vehicles at police and military checkpoints and in parking lots. It provides a significantly safer method for checking vehicles for car bombs and other contraband by allowing soldiers and other security personnel to remain a safe distance from the vehicles in question.

Scorpion is built rugged for hazardous environments and can be operated remotely, allowing it to go places no manned vehicle could safely go. Scorpion has ample lifting capacity and with the diesel power plant has abundant power and runtime. The base platform can be easily serviced through a worldwide dealer network. Scorpion can be outfitted with a variety of off-the-shelf attachments to meet any need.

Jaguar is a rugged, autonomous platform just waiting to take your orders. Built around the Bobcat Toolcat 5600 utility vehicle, Jaguar can take advantage of all the stock attachments, plus custom additions such as robotic manipulators, and mine flails.

Mobius is our easy to use software interface for controlling and monitoring multiple unmanned vehicles using the JAUS protocol. Mobius includes a robust feature set developed in conjunction with our customers over several years. Mobius allows vehicle developers to quickly and easily deploy unmanned vehicles for immediate use in real world applications. Vehicles "driven by Mobius" are being fielded around the world by Fortune 500 companies in applications such as agriculture, construction, vehicle testing, security, education, and defense.
P.G.A.P. combines an easy to use software suite and robust hardware and electronics with quality services and support to provide a rugged and reliable automated test machine; one that doesn't get tired, complain, or ask for a raise.

Target Vehicles Autonomous Solutions Inc. can create a custom unmanned target vehicle for you. We are able to convert any off-the-shelf commercial vehicle and implement it with autonomous or teleoperational control. This type of vehicle is useful for weapons systems development, live battlefield-type training and testing, and many other operations.
To some companies, intelligent automation is still a pie-in-the-sky concept, something to be hoped for in the vague future. At Autonomous Solutions, useful robotic vehicles are an everyday reality. If you have a need for an intelligent robotic vehicle, we'd like to sit down with you to discuss the solution.
